Thank you for a wonderful year EOS community! Here is a brief look at what went on here at Cypherglass in 2018 and a recap of some of our favorite EOS moments!

After assembling the team and putting together a plan of action throughout the beginning of the year we announced our candidacy in May. We quickly launched our YouTube Channel, releasing educational videos on EOS as well as updates and community proposals. Our infrastructure team worked closely with other block producers before and during mainnet launch.

EOS Mainnet launched after days of go/no-go votes on 06/10/2018,Cypherglass was #12 the moment the EOS network unlocked with 15% of EOS tokens staked and voted. We were all extremely excited to be an elected Block Producer. Today we are #25, and the only Top 40 BP set up to produce blocks in the United States. Other notable announcements included our Cypherglass $100k Hardware Wallet Bounty

Our infrastructure team was excited to announce and launch many community tools including LENSWINDSHIELD, and GLASS through the summer.

Rob was honored to speak at an SVK Crypto meet up in London just before the 2nd installment of the EOS Global Hackathon. Adrianna was able to make it out to the EOS Un-conference in London to talk about governance, community, and transparency with other Block Producers and EOS community members.

In October who could forget our #HallowEOS pumpkin carving contest! We had a lot of really awesome submissions, and ultimately had our guest judges choose 3 winners all receiving an EOS prize! We look forward to next years contest!

We held a successful EOS meetup in Portland, OR with our friends from EOS Dublin. Ross was able to give a great presentation on block producer infrastructure and have a round of beers with Mr. Thomas Cox. Another great EOS event in the books!

November was kicked off with the San Fransico Hackathon, drawing in the largest crowd and amazing teams from all over the world. Rob was able to volunteer as a mentor and lend his support to the teams building on EOSio for 24 hours straight.

We finished the year out with a trip to the BitSpace Crypto Finance 2018 Global Block Producer Summit in Oslo to particiapte in a panel with several other BPs on Global Relations.

We had a great year and the Cypherglass team is excited to start 2019 and will continue to provide you with EOS information. Thank you for all the support we received this year. Build on EOSIO!

Happy New Year from the Cypherglass Team!
